Michael Clyde Losey died Sat., July 23 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.
Services for Mike will be at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Miller. Rosary will be Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 7:00 p.m.; Mass will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 10:30 a.m., burial at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Miller.
Michael was born on Jan. 18, 1954 in Miller to Charles and Phyllis (Danburg) Losey. He received a B.S. Degree in Economics from South Dakota State University in Brookings. After college Mike was employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Aberdeen. He continued his banking career in Minneapolis, MN: Dallas, TX and Rapid City. Mike enjoyed all sports. His high school basketball team won the state championship with an undefeated record in 1972. His hobby was collecting baseball and football cards. Mike was also an avid dog lover.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Josh) Veurink of Sioux Falls; sister Linda (Rick) Acee of Broken Arrow, OK; brothers Robert Losey of Lead, Richard Losey of Miller; brother-in-law Dean Dragoo of Newton, KS; ex-wife Jari Johnson of Flandreau; three nieces and three nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Vicki Dragoo and wife, Diana.
Mike’s family is handling all the funeral arrangements privately.
